Open Mic On Thursdays At The HubNow hosted by Brightons lovliest acoustic duo 'THE WELLINGTONS' Open mic provides a musical playground for musicians to play together. Everything from cello to beat-boxing, the possibilities are endless! A good nite all round! |

| I went to this pub to see the Chelsea -Liverpool match, and I have to say that it was awful, a group of guys were all the time abusing the rest of the crowd, and they were allowed by the managers to carry on because they were mates. Violent atmosphere on match days, a place to avoid. | |

The Hub is a nice lil haunt that should be discovered by one and all! The music is kick ass and the staff are friendly and definately up for a laugh. Its pretty neat to find a pub playing good Indie/Rock/Alt stuff thats got a nice atmos too Its a candle on the tables, dancing on friday nights, bit of pool in the afternoon kind of place. Really nice. A mate of mine is playing a gig there soon too and should make a very nice venue I reckon. The beer garden is massive and theres a good selection of beers. Its generally got a nice feel and is very high on my recommended list... I'm getting quite into my online bar and club reviews! Enjoy this place, it's one of my favourite's. |

The HubLocated in the heart of Studentia, The Hub caters well for its local clientele. If you're not a student however, beware.Astonishingly humourless staff, scruffy and limited bar range. Do yourself a favour and whip over to The Bear or even The Gladstone. They're both much better prospects, despite also being apparently student oriented. |
